Matt is an investor supporting founders building the future of Earth, Humanity, and Civilization, specializing in technologies at the intersection of ClimateTech and Industrials. Matt joins Hitachi Ventures from Vectors Capital, where he worked to build the fund’s strategy to invest in the next generation of frontier technologies at the intersection of industry and climate. Matt also served as a Senior Associate with Mission One Capital, an early-stage venture fund focusing on sustainability and human inequity, and as Senior Associate with ADL Ventures, where he built a community for early-stage investors and startups in the buildings sectors and advised startups on their commercialization plans and go-to-market strategies. Matt holds an M.Eng in Materials Science & Engineering from Boston University and B.S. in Finance and Economics from Boston College.
